How young can my child start Little Ninjas Karate?
This program is built for ages 3 to 7. If you're not sure your child is ready, come in for the trial and we'll help you decide together. There's no wrong time to start.
Will my child need to buy any equipment?
Nothing for the trial. Just bring them in gym wear. Join during the 2-week trial and the gi is free. We'll sort the belt too, and we have a pro shop on site if you need anything else.
Is Karate safe for young children?
Yes. At this age it's about movement, games, balance and controlled drills. Striking and blocking are taught gently and under close supervision. Safety and structure come first, always.
What should my child wear to their first class?
Comfortable gym wear is fine for the first class. Join during the 2-week trial and the gi (uniform) is free, and we'll sort the belt so they look and feel the part.
My child is very shy. Will they cope?
Shy kids are some of our favourite students to teach. Classes are small, the pace is gentle, and no child is ever singled out or pushed. Most timid children are joining in and grinning by the end of the first session.
